Ege Fren Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a Bayraktar Group company, continues its growth with a Cataphoresis and Powder Coating Line facility to start operating in February 2018 with an investment exceeding 1 million euros.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary, Ege Fren, one of the leading companies in the automotive supply industry continues to invest without a sign of slowing down.

Established with the partnership of Bayraktar Holding and Meritor Ege Fren is the first heavy commercial vehicle brake manufacturer in Turkey. The company has invested in a "Cataphoresis and Powder Coating Line" facility in their factory in the Aegean Free Zone.

This production line which incorporates the latest technological innovations and automations for faultless production has been the biggest investment of Ege Fren in the recent years. The facility which is invested with more than a million euros will have a 250.000 m² coating and paint capacity per year.

Aiming to provide a faster, better quality and faultless service to its customers with their new facility to be opened in February 2018, Ege Fren continues to move towards its goal of a healthy growth with the competitive advantage this investment will bring.

Ege Fren also made the country's first and only "Heavy Commercial Vehicle Disc Brake Line" investment. This investment has resulted in an annual brake production capacity of 225,000 units in three shifts.

The opening ceremony for the Cataphoresis and Powder Paint Line was held on 18 January 2018 with the participation of the Honorary Chairman of the Bayraktar Group Hüseyin Bayraktar, Chairman of the Bayraktar Group Mustafa Bayraktar as well as the Ege Fren Board Members and Executives.
